Beginner level
On this 3 hour soap-making class you will learn how to make your own organic soap bars using an organic and vegan glycerine base, pure essential oils and a selection of botanicals.
Jenny from The Scottish Soapworks will share the benefits of the essential oils she uses in her tried and tested recipes, and show you how to make your own soap using the 'melt and pour' method.
You will take home all the soap bars you make on the day. And, if you wish, we can offer a selection of themed soap wrapping options.
After your workshop, you will be sent a set of notes including details of the ingredients, equipment and recipes used, plus a list of suppliers so you can continue making your own soap bars at home.
This is a great workshop for those who want to cut back on packaging; choose the ingredients they use on their skin - and which ultimately end up in our rivers and oceans; and for saving money by making your own. It's also a really fun creative activity to do with others.
